Kratie

Kratie, a little town at the edge of Mekong. To go from Phnom Penh, tthe best way is by boat and to leave for a journey from 5 to 6 hours among which a big part on the Mekong river, to arrive in this town at the edge of the river. Very beautiful landscapes crossed during the journey. Kratie is famous for its Dolphins Irrawaddy, whose about sixty specimens there is. The road which follows the river is lined with traditional Khmers houses rather old , and to walk is there very pleasant.

The Mekong: to see the Dolphins Irrawaddy, it is necessary at first half an hour in motorcycle, (better means of transport because of the state of the road) and then to leave in boat on their meeting. According to the seasons we does not always see them.
The road lined with palm trees, which follows Mekong, is very pleasant with many traditional Khmers houses of every side of the road. It is the campaign and we lives there at the rhythm of the sun.
